James R. Hill, Founder and Chairman of the Board
Drawing on his extensive experience in international marketing, Louisville, KY businessman Jim Hill identified the niche for El Regreso™ repatriation services in 2005. Since then, he has assembled an accomplished team to bring the service to market, and has brought on board a team of highly respected specialty service providers, including the travel assistance and customer service operations, to provide key customer services.
Prior to his current role as Chairman of the Board of Stabilitas Group, LLC, Jim built a reputation as a resourceful business innovator. Jim has lived overseas and worked throughout the Caribbean Basin, developing special risk insurance programs for clients such as Scuba Schools International, Sports Specialist LTD, the Caribbean Hotel Association and the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities in conjunction with noted insurers AIG, Blue Cross / Blue Shield NCA, Guaranty National, and others. In addition he has served as a marketing executive with Louisville-based companies Humana Inc, Norton Healthcare and Harris and Co.
Jim is a graduate of The University of The South, Sewanee, TN.
Gary M. Criscillis, President and CEO
As President and CEO, Gary Criscillis brings his knowledge of the financial institution marketplace and more than 24 years of insurance industry experience to bear in the operations of Stabilitas Group, LLC.
Gary's background includes his involvement as a principal of Lenders Service Corporation, a licensed Managing General Agency located in Louisville, Kentucky that has been in operation since 1981. The company manages a limited number of specialty insurance programs designed for the financial institution marketplace. Serving as company President for the last 17 years, he has overseen all aspects of agency operations including marketing, carrier relations, underwriting, loss analysis, policy issuance, and claims administration, all the while achieving underwriting results that consistently exceed those on carriers’ national books.
Gary’s interest in international programs such as El Regreso™ can be traced to his early work experiences with Baker International (Baker-Hughes), an oilfield services company. During his five year tenure at Baker, he traveled extensively including destinations in the Middle East, South America, the North Sea, Europe and the Caribbean.
Gary attended the University of Alabama and the University of Louisville.
Frank W Marx, III, Executive Vice President and COO
Having developed a niche as a highly respected strategic business development advisor for small and emerging businesses, Frank Marx brings invaluable expertise to his role as Executive Vice President and COO.
With 20 years experience as an internal strategy, operations and finance executive, Frank can apply substantial management experience to the strategic planning and operational oversight processes.
In addition, Frank has extensive business development experience, having advised 30+ companies on raising capital in excess of $100 million total.
Frank holds both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters in Management Science from Stanford University. He received his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
